You could also try changing one thing in the config. Of course this was also with Vista(don't laugh worked perfect until I got a new pc with 10). A reboot fixed it but at the time I was leaving crap open and hadn't rebooted for a while. It actually took a indy game that didn't handle it well to show me. Most games seemed to work fine but had reversed controls. Direct input had crapped out without telling me and I did't know it. Wonder if you can reinstall DX what OS you have 7,8,10? I actually ran into an issue once that was odd with a few other games.

Not sure if it was a Windows Update or a Warframe update where things went wrong. Odd thing is, everything was working fine up until a few days ago.

I believe it's using a standard HID driver the LED lighting is controlled by CUE and I think the LED controller has its own USB driver.

Updated nVidia drivers first, always suspect those. Have you updated your Graphics card drivers? Also since it's on keypress, do you have a keyboard that has it's own drivers installed? Does it have base drivers? Maybe try updating or uninstalling those? I swear, no other game I have ever played, including several alpha releases, has had problems to the level that I routinely experience with Warframe. Of course, this means I get to redo all my settings. So far, only solution I've found is to delete the Warframe folder in %localappdata% (this after a reinstall of the game).
It starts fine, but as soon as I hit any key on the keyboard at the login screen, it crashes.
